 Charles L. "Chuck" Toy Charles "Chuck" L. Toy, 73, succumbed to cancer at his home August 8th, 2017.
Chuck is survived by his wife Sarah of 45 years, son Christopher and Katherine Toy, and grandchildren Theodore and Millicent, Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his son Travis in 2014.
Chuck retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 36 years in 2001, and went on to work alongside his son Travis doing general carpentry and construction. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, growing vegetables in his garden, and Jayhawk athletics, an interest forced upon him by his son Chris.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 13th from 3-5 p.m. at the Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Valley Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Falls Christian Church and Jefferson County Hospice. Arrangements with Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Topeka. Chapeloaksne.com
