CONNIE LOUISE RAMEY - Connie Louise Ramey 66, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at a Topeka Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1943 in Topeka, the daughter of Lewis M. and Yolande E. Neal Stover.

She was a life-long Topeka resident. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1961. Connie was employed by Zercher Photo for several years. She was also a licensed day care provider for many years and loved children. Connie Married Robert L. Ramey on August 3, 1962 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Brian L. (Tracy) Ramey, Tracy E. Christenson, Pam L. Ramey and her fiance, Randy, fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Jessie Lucille Ramey, and one brother.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gavel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Connie will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd.
