Career, Life Experiences:
I married Judy Richert, Washburn Rural (1963) in 1965. I graduated from K.U. with a degree in Occupational Therapy and worked for a year before enrolling in DePaul U. graduate school where I earned an M.S. in Management. We lived in Chicago for ten years before returning to Lawrence and K.U., where I was an Asst. Professor. We have lived in several midwestern states where I've worked in the rehabilitation field.
I currently enjoy working in the rehabilitation unit at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Staffers here have requested that I always wear "scrubs" so they can tell me from our patients.
Judy and I have three wonderful daughters and two granddaughters. We purchased my family's home in Tecumseh, and have been remodeling it ever since.
