Alta Mae Pinky Johnson, 67, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011, at her home. She was born March 11, 1943, in Escondido, CA, the daughter of Alton and Sarah (Hedrick) Fielder. She was raised by Francis and Sarah Greemore. She was a graduate of Highland Park High School and attended Washburn University. She was employed by the Kansas Hospital Association, retiring in 2006. She married David Myers in 1980. They later divorced. Survivors include two daughters, Sara (David) Spinks, Topeka, and Kristi (Kevin) Kuhns, Tecumseh, NE; two sons, David (Shari) Johnson, Phoenix, AZ, and Kenneth (Sandra) Johnson of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her mother, Sarah Greemore, Topeka, and a sister, Mary Stormes, Topeka. Ms. Johnson was cremated. Memorial ceremonies will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka.
