LENEXA - Lester A. "Chris" Christman II, 53, Lenexa, formerly of Topeka was dead on arrival Saturday, May 31, 1997, at a hospital in Overland Park after he was stricken at home. He had a heart attack.

He was born July 11, 1943, in Topeka where he spent his early life. He attended schools in Highland Park and was graduated from Highland Park High School. He was a locksmith technician instructor employed by the Foley-Belsaw Co. in Kansas City, Mo. He had served in the Army. He was married to Alenna. He had served in the Army and he was married to Alenna Christman. She survives

Other survivors include a son, Dana R. Christman, at home, a daughter, Tabitha M. Gilner, Overland Park: his father, Lester A, Christman, Topeka: Two brothers, Harry Christman, Meriden, and Larry Christman, Placerville, Calif. ; and a grandson. Cremation is planned. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Charter Funerals in Shawnee Mission. Memorial contributions may be made to Harvesters International.
